Today was a day of touring through the city of Verona on foot. You can understand why people enjoy the beauty of this city with it's small narrow streets with pavers, happy and helpful people, built around a river, wonderful weather, and beautiful old buildings.
The same picture sent yesterday but now with daylight
Some of the beautiful buildings
Shirl wanted to buy these buy I told her they would not fit
Juliette's balcony
Some serious negotiations occurring here
The typical street with the bricks. Certainly is more beautiful than our concrete streets
The Coliseum. Can you imagine the crowds during the peak season?
Our apartment is just behind the large building at the end of the bridge
During a lunch break where I had great pizza and Shirl had a nice caprese salad
I had to carry her over my shoulder after this drink!
We are off to have a nice quiet dinner. See you tomorrow.
